ABout The Author
My name is Mercedes Hein, Senior at Dakota High School. I made this website, for a school research project. What interested me to pursue the topic of Teenage Self-Harm was because I have known and grown up with a couple of people who did this although I never have myself. It affected me because self-harm doesn’t only affect the harmer but the family, and friends of the ones doing it. I wanted to research and find out more on this topic, because although I know about them doing this in the past, I rarely bring it up or ask questions even though I clearly see the scars just as good as anyone else.
